Product families can appear in several groups. These group totals overlap and must not be added together. Shares describe recorded imports, not the total construction market.

Sources and interpretation

Canadian International Merchandise Trade (CIMT), published by Statistics Canada, provides the 2023–2025 import values. Canadian counter-tariff lists come from the Department of Finance Canada; antidumping measures come from the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). Manufacturer sources are linked in each product’s Sources & manufacturing tab.

Alberta is the province of customs clearance, which may differ from final use. Import shares exclude domestic Canadian sales. Manufacturing evidence identifies relevant production, not available capacity. Listed trade measures are separate from historical import values.

All amounts in nominal Canadian dollars. No Canadian market share is inferred from imports.Independent research · Sources do not endorse this dashboard.
