Design Approach

An Instict for Space
I’m an architect and interior designer, and that background shapes the way I work with flowers. For ten years, I’ve explored what gives a space its character: how light falls, how materials meet, and how proportion influences the way a room feels. Floral design became a more intuitive way to explore those same ideas through colour, texture, and movement.
I’m drawn to the tension between structure and spontaneity, a branch that reaches beyond the composition, a flower that shifts its balance, an unexpected pairing of colours. My everlasting arrangements grow from these small decisions, always in conversation with the space around them.
Based in Calgary, I create pieces for homes, hotels, restaurants, and showrooms. I consider how each will be encountered: seen from a doorway, passed on the way to a table, or noticed slowly over time. I want each arrangement to have its own presence while bringing out something distinctive in the place it belongs.
